Sneak Peek: Cirrus Vodka Tasting Room Interior Design

slated to open summer 2024, cirrus vodka’s new tasting room is a chic and intimate experience

Cirrus Vodka’s new tasting room will be an anchor space within the new Ballast Point development spearheaded by the team at Yellow Umbrella.

Complimenting Yellow Umbrella’s new restaurant and market concept, Cirrus Vodka’s tasting room will offer a collection of inspired vodka cocktails and light fare in a delightfully fun and fresh environment.

The first tasting room outside of their distillery, the vision for this space was to marry the playful and fun loving personality of Cirrus with the one of a kind architecture and detail of the existing building. Previously a tasting room for Blue Bee Cider, it was important that Cirrus’ new space feel distinctly their own.

We leaned into the intimate quality of the tasting bar and sipping lounge, thinking about each like a jewel box, with delicate details that find that perfect balance of playfulness and luxury.

A vibrant checkerboard tile floor brights adds a whimsical pattern that’s grounded by a palette of textured wood, soft pink, and dusty blues. Wavy and curved details in the furniture further echo the lighthearted aspects of the brand, where brass light fixtures and textured walls layer in elements of sophistication.

A separate event space provides room for guests to spread out, meet with a large group, or host a private party. Custom round booths mimic details of Cirrus’ main logo and branded neon set’s the tone for the experience.

The minimal but warm palette continues with soft pink, periwinkle blue, and blonde woods that combine with the building’s natural stone and concrete materials. A healthy collection of plants bring extra life and color.
