Start Up Week 2014

Are you registered for RVA Start Up Weekend yet? On September 19-21, participants will take ideas from concept to presentation pitch in just 56 hours. A community-driven think tank of our city’s best and brightest, Startup Weekend reaffirms Richmond as a place where entrepreneurial spirit can experiment and thrive. Learn more and register at rva.up.co You can also read about Startup Weekend in this great interview with Joey Figaro.  Campfire and Co helped design the event marketing material for this year’s Startup Weekend including stickers, banners, t-shirts and more. We chose the Pantone color of 2014, Radiant Orchid, as a nod to the importance of the design community’s awareness and participation in this tech-y and entrepreneurial setting. We think events are a great opportunity to use branding to promote a cohesive identity for an organization. Consistent and intentional branding will provide your audience with reassurance that your event is well planned, thoughtfully executed, and professional. Unfortunately we won’t be able to join everyone at this year’s event due to a celebration of our own: Christina is getting married! We will be busy helping her start up her new family but hope the rest of RVA’s brightest entrepreneurs have an awesome and successful time! Good luck future teams!
